PACE originally had canceled the Stadium lites all together. Thanks to Richard Kosar (I forgot to snap some shots of his machine), we got to run. We had 14 or so cars that were supposed to be there. We had 6 show up. Richard’s new lite (the Mosquito) broke in practice. Another guy had blown his Pilot motor driving to his buddy’s house the night before. Pace treated us unfairly from the beginning. We were hustled to the back of the pits and asked to move several times(they kept deciding that where we were pitted was suddenly a driveway) We did get two practice sessions. They decided that we were going to have no heat race and just one race, at 5:30. We were not going to part of the show. We did attend to the Track Party. That was kinda cool, I never had to sign autographs before! We sat in the parking for about an hour after we thought we were supposed to line up. The race went good. Kurt blew apart his silencer and pulled off. I lost power(gas feed problem). Paul and Rich battled it out but the Pilot pulled ahead. It was a good weekend, no one got hurt.
