I have always been unhappy with
the way my long travel Pilot steered so I modified it to my liking.
The Akerman angle was extreme and I feel the machine turns better
with both wheels pointed in the right direction.
I welded the 2 holes closed on the steering plate and redrilled one in the middle. This allows the linkages to both swing in the same arc.
Full right turn.
Full left turn.
Notice in the full turn pics the wheels are pointed in the same direction.
