Now, turn the case over and make sure your crank will spin freely. Mine would swing back and forth like a pendulum till it rested with the heavy side down. Install NEW dowel pins and a new gasket and slide the other case onto the crank.

This side is only slightly more tricky. Make sure your pins line up and install the special tool onto the flywheel side. Once again, the tool is pulling on the crank and pushing on the inner race of the main bearing. Pull until the case halves are snug together MAKING SURE YOU DON'T GET A SHOP RAG IN BETWEEN THE TWO HALVES!!!! I did this twice but luckily it was not tight before I realized my mistake.

At this point the crank should spin very freely in the case and make no sounds or have any drag at all. Install NEW main seals and torque all the case bolts. Assemble the motor just like your manual says to(you do have a manual right?) The pic below is my method of tightening that left handed 42 mm stake nut. A 1 5/8" wrench fits nicely and the pull start ratchet makes for a good holding tool. Tighten as tight as a human can get it(good luck finding a torque wrench to get on this one, just tighten it!). Don't forget to stake the nut and keep assembling the motor till it is ready to install. Break it in slowly and enjoy.
